Photo Tips for a Superhero Portrait

A hero needs a confident pose. Look for:

• A proud, head-up pose. A pet sitting or standing tall, chin up, suits a cape. Avoid photos taken from above, where the head looks tiny.
• A neck and chest you can see. The costume collar, chest emblem and cape clasp sit there, so a thick fluffy ruff or a tilted-down head can hide the space.
